This has to be quick because the Detroit airport is not very generous with its complimentary wifi. They only give one 30 minutes of free air time.
We left La Crosse airport this morning at 7:00am and landed in Detroit around 9:20am. After a lovely walk through the DTW tunnel connecting Concourse C to Concourse A (it is actually a very cool tunnel), we settled onto some not-so-comfy benches at our gate, and are now waiting for our 1:45pm departure flight to Atlanta, GA. We should get in to Atlanta around 3:45pm and depart there for Nassau at about 5:30pm. That means we should be in Nassau by about 750pm.
We are anxious to get home. I spoke with Tim this morning, and he is anxious for us to get home as well. These last 3 weeks have been very busy and have flown by quickly, but it is still a long time to be separated.
Please pray for a member of one of the mission teams at the ALC now. He fell through a ceiling (at a local Haitian church, not at the camp or centre) and injured himself yesterday. He is going to be ok, but he is sore.
A special thank you to Ruth and Theo Habel for being such awesome hosts to us this weekend (and earlier in June when we were in La Crosse). They not only provided a place for us to stay, they also got up at 5am this morning to get us to the airport. THANK YOU!
Have a great day. I will try to get another post up (with pictures) this weekend. No promises, but I will try. Until then, have a great week.
